The Paleolithic diet is based on foods that were available to hunters and gatherers during the Paleoithic era, including fish; grass-fed, pasture raised meats; organic, free-range eggs; vegetables; fruit; fungi; roots; and nuts. It excludes grains; legumes; dairy products; potatoes; sugars; sweeteners and processed foods.
I made up this vegetarian curry ‘from scratch’ using the spices we had in the cupboard. You can use curry powder if you prefer, but this was easy enough to put together if you don’t have any to hand. Enjoy!

Three weeks in and I’m starting to feel good π
An easy soup I made tonight in my slow cooker as part of my 30 days of paleo detoxing.
My food cravings have gone π Although I’m feeling quite sluggish and finding it difficult to eat enough to keep my energy up as I’m not a big fan of meat.
A dip I made tonight with an organic beetroot I bought at the farmers markets.

Homemade pesto! Great with pasta, as a base for gourmet pizzas or spread over sliced tomatoes to make a great salad.
