I just made this detox smoothie and it’s surprisingly tasty. The ginger apparently works as an appetite suppressant, which is useful as I’ve heard that blending fruit into a smoothie means your stomach isn’t sent the same signals to tell you that you should be getting full, so you may end up consuming more. I tend to add linseeds and chia seeds, which I soak for 5 minutes in the smoothie liquid before I blend them, which also help to make you feel full for longer and provides further protein, omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and minerals.
I made these vegan burgers for dinner and lunch the following day. I wasn’t sure how they’d be, but Linda McCartney’s vegan quarter pounder burger patties are tasty and juicy and you can pick them up from major UK supermarkets, such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s. In Australia, Woolworthes stocks them too.
I just made this spicy soup for lunch using some left over vegetables.

As I’m moving house tomorrow I have very little left in the fridge. I made up this recipe with the food I have left over for breakfast and it was pretty good, so here it is for you to enjoy as well.
