I&#8217;m being a little less strict this time around by eating mustard (yeah I know it has preservatives), some deli meats and if I get sick of eating so much meat and seafood I&#8217;m going to allow myself to eat the pulses on the vegetarian paleo plan, such as lentils, which means my yummy lentil spinach red curry is back in if I need it. The hardest part will be not eating dairy for a month.<br \/> <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Breakfasts<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>scrambled eggs with a selection of spring onion, cherry tomatoes (halved), leek,<\/li>\n<li>mushrooms, baby spinach, olives, herbs topped with Frank&#8217;s hot sauce<\/li>\n<li>eggy muffins<\/li>\n<li>Boiled egg seasoned with salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>Tomato concass\u00e9 with poached eggs<\/li>\n<li>Breakfast smoothies, made with my new nutribullet\n<ul>\n<li>orange, carrot and ginger juice<\/li>\n<li>frozen mixed berries with almond milk<\/li>\n<li>banana and pear with nutmeg and cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>grape juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>orange and apple juice<\/li>\n<li>coffee!!<\/li>\n<li>Earl Grey tea with almond milk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Lunches and dinners<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creamy vegetable soup (without the creme fraiche &#8211; it&#8217;s still creamy)<\/li>\n<li>bolognese sauce or chilli con carne, served:\n<ul>\n<li>on courgette spaghetti<\/li>\n<li>inside baked sweet potato<\/li>\n<li>stuffed in whole roasted bell peppers<\/li>\n<li>stuffed in lettuce leaves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Courgette spaghetti with capers, lemon juice and garlic<\/li>\n<li>steamed greens and vinegrette (no mozzarella or cottage cheese)<\/li>\n<li>chicken soup<\/li>\n<li>vegetable soups, like:\n<ul>\n<li>asparagus soup<\/li>\n<li>courgette soup<\/li>\n<li>roasted courgette and aubergine soup<\/li>\n<li>mixed vegetable soup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>beef stew (without the red wine)<\/li>\n<li>bora bora balls<\/li>\n<li>roast chicken, beef and lamb with vegetables<\/li>\n<li>lamb agnou<\/li>\n<li>Thai red vegetable curry served over cauliflower fried rice with brunswick ham, prawns and egg<\/li>\n<li>Prawn and vegetable laksa<\/li>\n<li>Baked lemon fish with lemon, garlic vegetables<\/li>\n<li>Salads with prawns, tuna, chicken, lamb, beef, brunswick ham, egg, nuts and seeds with a vinegrette dressing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dinners with pulses (<\/strong>vege Paleo<strong> style)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lentil and spinach red curry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>snacks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cornichons \/ pickled cucumbers<\/li>\n<li>olives stuffed with garlic<\/li>\n<li>bora bora balls<\/li>\n<li>eggy muffins<\/li>\n<li>nakd bars<\/li>\n<li>prawns with lemon juice and Frank&#8217;s hot sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>desserts<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fruit<\/li>\n<li>grape juice<\/li>\n<li>frozen banana smoothie<\/li>\n<li>frozen berry smoothie<\/li>\n<li>nakd bar<\/li>\n<li>herbal tea<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>eating out<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>bunless burgers<\/li>\n<li>grilled fish<\/li>\n<li>steak<\/li>\n<li>salad sans dressing (vinegar &amp; olive oil instead)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some of the staple meals I&#8217;ll call on during my paleo detox in February.
