A variation of a recipe from the Scottish\u00a0<a title=\"Foodies Magazine\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foodies-magazine.co.uk\/\">Foodies magazine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>20g butter<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp\u00a0olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2 shallots,\u00a0diced<\/li>\n<li>1 chilli, deseeded and sliced<\/li>\n<li>peeled prawns<\/li>\n<li>10 cherry tomatoes, halved<\/li>\n<li>50ml brandy<\/li>\n<li>250ml double cream<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon\u00a0balsamic vinegar<\/li>\n<li>400g\u00a0tagliatelle pasta<\/li>\n<li>parsley, chopped<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cook the pasta. Melt the butter and oil, and fry the shallots for a few minutes with the chilli. Add the prawns, tomatoes and season with salt and pepper. Add the brandy and cook for a minute to allow the alcohol to evaporate. Add the cream, balsamic vinegar and stir for 2 minutes.
