A recipe from <a title=\"opens in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/secure.tesco.com\/recipes\/product.aspx?R=252&amp;bci=4294967026|Grains%20and%20pulses*4294966958|Low%20Gi\">Tesco<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 pork sausages<\/li>\n<li>3 tbsp olive oil<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves,crushed<\/li>\n<li>600 g cannellini beans<\/li>\n<li>100 g baby spinach<\/li>\n<li>zest and juice of 1 lemon<\/li>\n<li>salt and black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Preheat the grill. Place the sausages on a roasting sheet and put under the grill for 5 minutes on each side, until cooked through and golden. Cut into thick slices.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, put the olive oil and garlic in a wide saucepan and heat gently for 1 minute. Stir in the cannellini beans and sliced onion. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper and continue to cook over a low heat for 5 minutes to soften.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the pan from the heat and toss in the sausages, along with the spinach, and lemon zest and juice.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer to a large salad bowl and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Succulent sausages, fresh spinach and spicy cannellini beans make a delicious salad which could be eaten on its own or as a side dish.
