{"id":848,"date":"2014-07-05T12:35:54","date_gmt":"2014-07-05T12:35:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jessgramp.net\/recipes\/?p=848"},"modified":"2026-01-07T11:54:12","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T11:54:12","slug":"garden-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessgramp.com\/recipes\/garden-salad\/","title":{"rendered":"Garden salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Something I threw together for lunch today.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>gem lettuce<\/li>\n<li>radishes, quartered<\/li>\n<li>tomato, cubed<\/li>\n<li>avocado, sliced<\/li>\n<li>green beans, halved<\/li>\n<li>pine nuts<\/li>\n<li>fresh herbs (or dried)<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>dressing<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>white wine vinegar<\/li>\n<li>dijon mustard<\/li>\n<li>garlic, crushed<\/li>\n<li>Maggi liquid seasoning (optional)<\/li>\n<li>olive oil<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wash and dry the gem lettuce and line the bowl with the leaves. Steam the green beans until just cooked &#8211; they should still be a bit crunchy. I cooked them in my microwave steamer for about 1 minute. Top the lettuce with the avocado, tomato, radishes and green beans. Sprinkle with pine nuts, herbs and salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Mix together the dressing ingredients except for the oil until well combined.
