{"id":80,"date":"2008-09-23T10:27:39","date_gmt":"2008-09-23T00:27:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jessgramp.com.au\/wordpress\/?p=80"},"modified":"2023-02-09T00:34:59","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T00:34:59","slug":"indian-fish-curry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessgramp.com\/recipes\/indian-fish-curry\/","title":{"rendered":"Indian Fish Curry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is another recipe from the <a title=\"Opens in new window\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sbs.com.au\/food\/recipe\/569\/Fish-curry\">SBS Food Safari<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 long green chillies thinly sliced on angle<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp cumin seeds<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd tsp black mustard seeds<\/li>\n<li>2 garlic cloves finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 dessertspoons minced ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 brown onions finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>4 plum tomatoes skinned &amp; diced<\/li>\n<li>1 tin of coconut milk<\/li>\n<li>12 curry leaves<\/li>\n<li>Vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>4x200g portions of white fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the mustard seed &amp; cumin seed and stir until it starts to pop, then add the onion, garlic &amp; ginger and sweat for about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chilli &amp; curry leaves and cook for a further 5 minutes then add the coconut milk, fish stock &amp; salt and bring to the boil then simmer for about 15 minutes.
