{"id":752,"date":"2014-01-15T23:21:40","date_gmt":"2014-01-15T23:21:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jessgramp.net\/recipes\/?p=752"},"modified":"2023-02-09T00:34:57","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T00:34:57","slug":"beetroot-dip-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessgramp.com\/recipes\/beetroot-dip-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Spicy Beetroot dip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A dip I made tonight with an organic beetroot I bought at the farmers markets.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 beetroot, peeled<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon white wine vinegar<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons lemon juice<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>1\/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (less if you don&#8217;t like spicy food)<\/li>\n<li>pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>METHOD<\/p>\n<p>Parboil a peeled beetroot for 15 minutes in plain water. Remove and cool, then grate it coarsely. Place into a bowl for blending along with 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar, 2 teaspoons of lemon juice, 1\/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or garam masala, a pinch of salt, freshly ground pepper and a slug of olive oil.
