So that basically means eating meat, seafood, vegetables, fruit and most nuts. This is supposed to &#8220;reset&#8221; your metabolism, and help you to overcome food cravings, show you how easy it can be to eat better and when you re-introduce foods back in to your diet you can see how you react to them in order to decide if you want to keep eating them or not.<\/p>\n<p><em>What does eating paleo involve?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->In a nutshell it means:<br \/>\nNo dairy<br \/>\nNo grains<br \/>\nNo alcohol<br \/>\nNo legumes (except snow peas\/ mange tout &amp; green beans)<br \/>\nNo white potatoes (use sweet potatoes instead)<br \/>\nNo soy<br \/>\nNo peanuts<br \/>\nNo sugars or sweeteners<br \/>\nNothing artificial &#8211; if you don&#8217;t understand an ingredient on the label then leave it out<\/p>\n<p><strong>So what meals can you make?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Breakfasts<\/em><br \/>\nScrambled eggs with ham, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, spring onions, pepper and chillies<br \/>\nAvacado with lemon juice, salt and roasted cherry tomatoes, with herbed saut\u00e9ed mushrooms<br \/>\nHam and eggs<br \/>\nBoiled eggs with salt<br \/>\nBanana<br \/>\nEggs with bubble &amp; squeak<br \/>\nBerries<br \/>\nFruit salad<br \/>\nOranges<br \/>\nBanana with coconut cream?<br \/>\nBanana with desicated coconut<br \/>\nPoached eggs with pesto, roasted tomatoes and asparagus<\/p>\n<p><em>Lunches &amp; Dinners<\/em><br \/>\nCauliflower egg fried rice with vegetables<br \/>\nBora-bora (pork &amp; pineapple) balls with steamed Broccoli<br \/>\nCourgette spaghetti with bolognese &#8211; tomato sauce, mushrooms, onion, chillies<br \/>\nCourgette spaghetti with char-grilled peppers, onions and tomatoes<br \/>\nSteamed fish with fresh green beans and roasted cherry tomatoes<br \/>\nChicken salad with radishes and roasted peppers<br \/>\nRoasted sweet potato chips with baked salmon<br \/>\nBaked sweet potato filled with herbed saut\u00e9ed mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, char-grilled peppers and pesto sauce.<br \/>\nBaked pesto fish with steamed green beans and a green salad<br \/>\nThai red curry with chicken or beef, onion, mushrooms<br \/>\nStir fried chicken or beef with bok choy, mange tout, red onions, mushrooms, cashews and coconut aminos (a soy sauce substitute I&#8217;ve failed to find thus far)<br \/>\nRoast chicken with mayonnaise, celery, peppers, carrots and cucumber spears<br \/>\nSpicy Thai pumpkin soup with coconut milk<br \/>\nBeef stew with carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms<br \/>\nChicken soup<br \/>\nVegetable soup (with meatballs?) with carrots, sweet potato, onion, herbed saut\u00e9ed mushrooms, tomatoes<br \/>\nRoasted leeks and courgettes stuffed with herbed mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and chopped cashews<br \/>\nChicken Caesar salad with Mayo, free range sugar-free bacon, cherry tomatoes, boiled eggs<br \/>\nSweet potato salad with boiled eggs, bacon, celery and home made mayo?<br \/>\nMushroom (and beef) soup? They&#8217;re great raw with dip, grated into salads and spaghetti bolognese and roasted.<br \/>\nDried fruits? Yes, in moderation.<br \/>\nHP sauce?
