My exceptions will be eating out, or when I travel overseas &#8211; different rules in different postcodes \ud83d\ude09 &#8211; although I&#8217;ll try to stay vegetarian on these occasions. Every little bit helps right?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve pledged to be completely vegan for the first 7 days of November!<\/p>\n<p>You can <a title=\"Vegan pledge\" href=\"http:\/\/www.vegansociety.com\/veganpledge\/\">make your own 7 or 30 day pledge<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>So, in preparation I&#8217;m stocking up on the following replacement foods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>light soya milk &#8211; instead of cow&#8217;s milk<\/li>\n<li>seitan &#8211; instead of meat<\/li>\n<li>tofu &#8211; meat substitute<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"What is Umeboshi paste?\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kitchenlaboheme.com\/2011\/06\/what-is-umeboshi-paste-and-how-to-use.html\">Umeboshi Paste<\/a> &#8211; cheese and butter substitute to season food<\/li>\n<li>Almond feta &#8211; to replace goats\/sheep fetta (I hope this is good!)<\/li>\n<li>Coconut milk Mozzarella &#8211; to replace\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 24px\">mozzarella\u00a0<\/span>made from cow&#8217;s milk<\/li>\n<li>cheese free pesto &#8211; same as standard pesto, without the parmesan<\/li>\n<li>vegan mince &#8211; be careful as soya mince can contain egg whites<br \/> *Linda McCartney&#8217;s Vegemince is a vegan option<br \/> *\u00a0Tesco Meat Free Vegetarian Mince<\/li>\n<li>brown sugar &#8211; to replace honey in my porridge<\/li>\n<li>maple syrup &#8211; for use in baking<\/li>\n<li>coconut milk &#8211; to replace cows milk in baking and for making curries<\/li>\n<li>mushrooms &#8211; to replace and blend with vegan mince<\/li>\n<li>coconut or almond cream &#8211; to replace cream from cow&#8217;s milk<\/li>\n<li>falafel balls &#8211; for sandwiches<\/li>\n<li>hummus &#8211; for dipping and falafel wraps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>So, meals I&#8217;m considering making in November include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lunches &amp; dinners<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pizzas &#8211; either cheese free, or with a dairy free cheese and a vegan-pesto base<\/li>\n<li>roast sweet potatoes with vegan mince chilli<\/li>\n<li>tomato salad with maggi seasoning<\/li>\n<li>vege curry (with tofu)<\/li>\n<li>lentil curry<\/li>\n<li>brocolli with slivered almonds<\/li>\n<li>3 bean salad<\/li>\n<li>vegan pesto pasta with fresh diced tomatoes and basil<\/li>\n<li>vege soup<\/li>\n<li>minestrone with vegan meatballs<\/li>\n<li>spaghetti with vegan bolognese<\/li>\n<li>tofu with tomato and basil sauce<\/li>\n<li>spicy bean fritters<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Cream of green Peppers with Basil Pesto and Tofu\" href=\"http:\/\/translate.googleusercontent.com\/translate_c?depth=1&amp;hl=en&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;prev=_t&amp;rurl=translate.google.com&amp;sl=fr&amp;tl=en&amp;u=http:\/\/liliskitchen.com\/creme-poivrons-pesto-basilic-tofu-vegan\/&amp;usg=ALkJrhhVnPBtkFbsPPHvBbNLwiE5IRWLdw\">Cream of green peppers, with basil pesto and tofu<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Breakfasts<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>porridge with brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>muesli with soya yoghurt, soya milk and fresh fruit<\/li>\n<li>Tesco blueberry wheats (dry or with soya milk)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Snacks<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>dried fruit and nuts for snacks<\/li>\n<li>hummus with oatcakes or multigrain crisp breads<\/li>\n<li>Nakd raw fruit, oat and nut bars<\/li>\n<li>bananas, strawberries, oranges and blueberries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Beer &amp;
