{"id":19,"date":"2008-11-18T07:37:12","date_gmt":"2008-11-17T21:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jessgramp.com.au\/wordpress\/?p=19"},"modified":"2023-02-09T00:34:59","modified_gmt":"2023-02-09T00:34:59","slug":"champagne-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jessgramp.com\/recipes\/champagne-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Champagne Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A great way to get rid of left over wine or champagne.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>flour<\/li>\n<li>chicken breasts<\/li>\n<li> left over champagne or dry white wine<\/li>\n<li> mushrooms<\/li>\n<li>cream<\/li>\n<li> butter, melted<\/li>\n<li> olive oil<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper<\/li>\n<li>tarragon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mix flour, tarragon, salt and pepper. Coat chicken in flour mixture. Heat butter and oil in frypan. Add chicken and cook about 4 minutes on each side. Add champagne and cook over medium heat about 12 minutes (or until chicken is done).<\/p>\n<p>Remove chicken. Add mushrooms, cream and cook over low heat stirring constantly until thickened.
