A nice alternative to pea and ham soup, perfect for a cold winter’s day.
INGREDIENTS
- celery, sliced
- brown onion, sliced
- country soup mix, soaked overnight in cold water
- ham slices, diced
- garlic
- 1 large potato, dice
- salt and pepper
- parsley
- chicken stock
- water
METHOD After soaking the country soup mix in cold water overnight, rinse well and boil for 10 minutes. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker and cook overnight.
